Vaagdevi Engineering College under the mentor-ship of Principal Dr P.Prasad rao, Dean A.Chandramouli and coordinator Dr.M.Kaushik (VIBA) conducted Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2020, an initiative by MHRD and AICTE. The problem statements are given by Ministry, PSUs and Private organizations. A large number of 570 students divided in 95 teams participated from both VEC & VCE and 7 teams in software edition and 4 teams in hardware edition were selected.
Mr. Sachin Pandey, Founder & CEO of Skillship Foundation addressed students of Vaagdevi Engineering College on various opportunities a startup can provide in an event on 23’rd of January organized under the direction of Principal Dr.P.Prasad Rao, Dean A.Chandramouli and coordinator Dr.M. Kaushik (VIBA). He also was a Jury member for internal hackathon, SIH 2020. Being the sponsoring partners, Skillship Foundation distributed goodies to the finalists.
